Gigantic garage sale is big deal

The popular event offers three buildings full of buys.
CANFIELD -- Angels for Animals is holding its 11th annual Gigantic Garage Sale on April 22-24 at Canfield Fairgrounds.
The fund-raiser will feature three buildings full of bargains on furniture, books, toys, small appliances and clothing. Food will be available, and there will also be Chinese and 50-50 raffles.
Admission will be $1 from noon to 9 p.m. April 22 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 23. Cost for early-bird shoppers from 9 a.m. to noon Friday will be $5.
April 24 will be Bargain Day with free admission from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Donated items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 18-20. Enter at the main gate of the fairgrounds on Route 46 and follow the signs. Large appliances, console televisions and stereos, sofa beds, encyclopedias, tires, artificial Christmas trees, mattresses and box springs will not be accepted. For safety reasons, children under 4, strollers and wagons will not be permitted in any of the buildings.
The Angels' Canine Fun Run and Walk is also being held April 24 at the fairgrounds, beginning at 10 a.m.
