TASK FORCE Police find suspected drugs, guns

The raid led to three arrests.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Authorities found firearms, suspected drugs and cash when they executed search warrants here and in Cambell.
The FBI and the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force joined forces for a raid Wednesday.
Three Youngstown men, Alegandro Leon, Jean M. Avilles Rosario and Maximo Fred, were arrested.
"This was a moderately good-sized bust," said FBI Supervisory Special Agent John Lichtefeld.
Lichtefeld said agents recovered about $100,000 in cash, three pounds of suspected marijuana, several AK-47 assault rifles and a rifle during the bust. Several hundred bundles -- roughly the size of a single dose each and weighing less than a pound cumulatively -- of suspected heroin also were recovered.
The items were seized while executing federal search warrants at 692 Jacobs Road, 317 Seneca Ave., 1207 N. Garland Ave. and 610 Kendis Circle (Building 6) in Youngstown and 65 and 68 Morley Ave. in Campbell.
Leon was charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin and Rosario and Fred were arrested on criminal complaints of conspiracy to distribute heroin or cocaine during Wednesday's raid.
In related charges, Abdul Salame Mohamed Elamri, Vivian Rosario, Freddie Fred and a fourth unidentified individual have been indicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute heroin. Freddie Fred, brother to Maximo Fred, is in custody, and the three others are being sought. Officials provided no addresses for the four.
