Heather Phillips, Bret Armstrong to wed Oct. 23

XTUCSON, Ariz. -- Larry and Cynthia Phillips, 10204 E. Falcon Point, formerly of Youngstown, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Heather Lynn Phillips, 530 S. Linda Circle, Mesa, Ariz., to Bret Daniel Armstrong, also of the Linda Circle address. Mr. Armstrong is a son of Gary and Sheri Armstrong of Mesa.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 4 p.m. Oct. 23 at Val Vista Lakes Country Club in Gilbert, Ariz., where a reception will follow.
Miss Phillips holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Arizona and a master's in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. She is employed as an academic training manager with the University of Phoenix -- Online Campus.
Her fiance graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is an instrumentation engineer with Honeywell-Aerospace Division in Phoenix.
