KIMBERLIN BROWN MOVES: For years she's tormented those who have wronged her as Sheila on "Bold and Beautiful," but starting next month, actress Kimberlin Brown moves to "One Life to Live," where she'll play Paige Miller. This is the part of Asa's doctor that Mary Beth Evans was originally going to take. The role is recurring, and Brown's first appearance is scheduled for Oct. 12. Does this mean no more Sheila, ever? Given that the character has more lives then a cat, don't bet on it.
BANISHED: In more "OLTL" news, sometimes being too bad just isn't good -- for longevity, anyway. It appears that the character of Paul is going to meet an untimely demise, and actor David Tom, who took over the role in March, has received his walking papers. No word yet as to when the final bell will ring for the schemer.
PRENUPTIAL COUNSELING: As Brittany and Bobby's wedding draws near on "Young and Restless," they'll get prenuptial counseling from Rev. Palmer. He's being played by a very familiar face to soap viewers, Brad Maule, best known for his many years as Dr. Tony Jones on "General Hospital." His visit to Genoa City begins Oct. 6.
RETURN TO WORLD: Next month marks the return of Katie to "As the World Turns," as actress Terri Colombino has completed her maternity leave and signed a new multiyear contract with the serial. She has been with "ATWT" since 1998.
MAIN LINE: The arrival of Paloma in Harmony and her traumatic family conflicts is shaping up as one of "Passions'" main fall storylines. Viewers interested in learning more about this complex character can log onto www.nbc.com/passions and read the private letters Paloma wrote to her family members but never sent.
