MEGHAN CONWAYSTEPHEN SAMBROAK
XYOUNGSTOWN -- St. Christine Church provided the setting for the Aug. 28 wedding of Meghan L. Conway of 2660 Christine Lane, and Stephen J. Sambroak of Erie, Pa. The Rev. G. David Weikart officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
The newlyweds later received guests during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, then left for a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Parents of the couple are Bill and Judy Conway of the Christine Lane address and Bob and Barb Sambroak of Erie.
Embroidered floral motifs highlighted the bride's gown styled with a satin and tulle bodice and detachable tulle train.
Honor attendants were Jody Conway and Stephanie Conway. Bridesmaids were Penny Carlson, Brenna Conway, Maura Conway, Nicole Woodall and Kelly Brogan. They wore white and burgundy dresses. Flower girls were Meghan and Mary Elizabeth Whilborg.
Best men were Chris Felege and Sean Conway. Groomsmen were Steve Carlson, Jarred Leydecker, Mike Evans, Ted Whitaker and Pat Connaroe. Junior groomsman was Shane Conway, and ring bearer was Patrick Conway.
Mrs. Sambroak graduated from Gannon University, Erie, with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse employed by Cleveland Clinic.
Mr. Sambroak is pursuing a degree in elementary special education at Gannon. A specialist in the U.S. Army Reserves, he recently returned from a 14-month deployment in Trikit, Iraq, with the 475th Quartermaster Co. based in Meadville, Pa.
