Dinner, dance to benefit club's scholarship fund

HUBBARD -- The Youngstown-Warren Black Nurses Association will present "An Evening at the Cotton Club" dinner and dance Oct. 16 at the Brentford House, 737 Myron St.
The semiformal event will begin with a social hour at 7 p.m. , followed by dinner at 8 and dancing until midnight.
Entertainment at the fund-raiser will feature Martha Robinson-Brogdon and a Cast of Legends, and music will be provided by Jeff Fuller, known as "Mr. Funky."
Proceeds from the event will help provide scholarships for deserving students in the Youngstown-Warren area and to finance health screenings held throughout the valley.
