CHRISTIE ARNOLDJOSEPH DETORO
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Married at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church were Christie Lynn Arnold and Joseph Anthony DeToro.
The bride is a daughter of Jane Petro, 4232 Wayne Road, Mantua, and John Tyler of Chicago. Mr. DeToro is a son of Ralph and Theresa DeToro, 203 Diana Drive, Poland.
Monsignor Michael Cariglio officiated, and a reception was held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
The couple live in Streetsboro since returning from a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bodice of the bride's strapless white silk gown was enhanced with beading.
The bride's cousin, Amanda Freechack, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Nicole Tyler, her sister-in-law; Jen Redford, her cousin; Katelynn Cheatham; Lori Losiewicz; and Becky Tyler, her sister. They wore black and champagne gowns. Alexis DeToro, the bride's daughter, was flower girl.
Christopher DeToro was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were James Tyler, the bride's brother; Ross Williams; Chad Gottschalk; Scott Thompson; Jeff Wang; and the groom's brothers, Ralph and Jon DeToro. The bride's brother, Jacob Tyler, was ring bearer, and usher was the groom's nephew, Sam DeToro.
The bride is a student at Kent State University and is employed in management with Marios International in Aurora.
Her husband graduated from Hiram College with a degree in education. He is employed in sales at Penske Truck Leasing in Cleveland.
