Best Bets on TV Tonight

The mutual admiration society of music and fashion meets on "Fashion Rocks" (8 p.m., Fox), with Denis Leary hosting a star-studded concert at Radio City Music Hall. Performances by Beyonc & eacute;, Usher, Faith Hill and others are mingled with "rockumentary" segments highlighting looks from top designers.
Christine Lahti is everywhere this season -- on the new WB series "Jack & amp; Bobby" and now in the movie "Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman" (9 p.m., CBS), co-starring with Brian Kerwin, as a woman dumped by her husband after 25 years of marriage. She's surprised to find that life isn't over.
Jill Hennessy stars in "Crossing Jordan" (10 p.m., NBC) as the woman who may be TV's most in-your-face medical examiner. Who needs cops when she's around? In this fourth-season premiere, Jordan finds herself stuck in a multicar pileup during a blackout.
"Deception on His Mind" (9 p.m., PBS), the fourth and final installment in the "Inspector Lynley Mysteries" series, features the lordly detective, played by Nathaniel Parker, honeymooning in Mexico. But when crime calls, he's back on the case. When the body of a young Pakistani man is found on a beach near an English seaside resort, the detective assigned to the investigation jeopardizes it by focusing too much on the guilt of a suspect. Lynley returns to England to find the case enmeshed in accusations about racism on the police force and a local community ready to riot. Now Lynley and partner Barbara Havers, played by Sharon Small, must discover why this suspicious death may mask more than murder.
