XYo-Mah-O Chapter, International Association of Administrative Professionals, will hold a membership open house at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Lockwood House in Boardman. Prospective members will receive a free dinner while learning about the organization. Those who join during the open house will have chapter dues waived. International and division dues of $76 will be payable that evening.
XYoungstown Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet at 10 a.m. Oct. 2 at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave. Kathe Mayer will speak on "Election Time," and the hostesses will be Mary Byrd Clark, Kathleen Johnson and Marilyn Scott. For more information call (330) 533-9368
AUXILIARIES
XWestern Reserve Care System Volunteer Auxiliary is sponsoring a day trip to the Amish country Oct. 26.The bus leaves at 7:45 a.m. from Arby's on Belmont Avenue and 8:15 a.m. from the Austintown Plaza. Featured will be a trip to a flea market, a chicken and roast beef dinner at an Amish home, and visits to Amish businesses and wineries. The return trip is approximately 6 p.m. The cost is $45 per person, and reservations are due by Friday. Checks, payable to the auxiliary, should be sent to Agnes Krut, Volunteer Services Department, Northside Medical Center/Forum Health, 500 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, Ohio 44501. Guests are welcome.
CLUBS
XCroatian Ladies of Campbell will meet at 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at Our Place. Daisy Litch will preside, and there will be a discussion of the Christmas party.
XWarren Women's Connection will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Oct. 11 at Aulizio's Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown-Warren Road. The program will feature Linda Clark, watercolor artist, who will demonstrate the technique; Ellyn Temple, who will sing; and Judy Barlow, who will talk about inner peace. The cost is $10. XYoungstown After 5 will hold a "Country Fair" event from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Lockwood House in Boardman. Cost is $10, and a free nursery will be available by reservation. Reservations may be made by calling Nancy Bare, (330) 549-2580. Speaker will be Judy Barlow, and there will be homemade and handmade items for sale and auction.
GUILDS
XSt. Michael Altar Guild will meet at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at the parish center with Doris Neel presiding. The rosary will be at 7 at the church. The speaker will be Rose Mary Antonucci, who will discuss "Prescription Assistance for the Elderly." Hostesses will be Liz Rehlinger and Mary Ann Pavalko. Guests may attend.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XAlgow International of Youngstown is sponsoring a tea for Teens Networking Together at 1 p.m. Oct. 2 at Aglow, 25 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown. The event is for girls from 13 to 17 years old. There will be a speaker and refreshments. For more information call (330) 755-8880 or (330) 536-2230.
XDiocesan Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will hold a day of recollection Oct. 13 at St. Matthias Church, 915 Cornell Ave. The rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10, and a lunch afterward. XGirard Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Oct. 2 at the Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St.

SUPPORT GROUPS
XDivorce Recovery Workshop will be sponsored by North-Mar Church 3855 E. Market St., Warren, for everyone who is divorced or separated. Meetings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on six consecutive Thursday nights from Oct. 7 through Nov. 11. The fee is $30, with a $5 discount available through Thursday.
