Messing is back, with high heels and her baby

If the shoe fits, Debra Messing wants to wear it.
Now that she's back from maternity leave, the "Will & amp; Grace" star said she very much looked forward to wearing high heels again. "They tell you about the swelling of your feet and the lack of balance," she said, "and it's all true."
She faced other limitations, as well. Messing, who plays Grace, said she also found she couldn't do her usual pratfalls and other physical comedy last season. "We had to find a way for Grace to be funny in a way that wasn't so physical," she said.
But now she's back, and with her on the "Will & amp; Grace" set is Roman Walker Zelman, her 5-month-old son, who gets star treatment.
"They converted one of the dressing rooms and made it into a nursery," Messing said.
She said she doesn't expect any problems getting back to work after having been away. "My gut says that it's like riding a bike, and I'm just going to be really, really happy," she said.
Messing added that watching "Will & amp; Grace" during her time away, she gained a renewed appreciation for how funny her co-stars are.
This season Grace is single again after a failed marriage, and Will (Eric McCormack) gets a boyfriend.
With "Friends" and "Frasier" gone, "Will & amp; Grace" is now the senior sitcom on NBC. The sitcom airs at 8:30 tonight.
