YOUNGSTOWN -- Top Hat Productions in the new Fairview Arts and Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road, will kick off its 2004 season with a dinner theater presentation of the Broadway musical "Crowns."
The comedy is a lively portrait of woman and how they define themselves by the hats they wear. The "crowns" serve as reminders of special moments in their lives, but the play also celebrates their sense of self-worth, religion and family. Opening night will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, with additional performances Oct. 1, 2, 8 and 9. Cost is $25. Call (330) 707-1117 to make reservations.
Guitarist to perform
ALLIANCE -- Award-winning classical guitarist Petar Jankovic will perform at 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Union College's Presser Hall.
