Lordstown beat Maplewood to raise its record to 9-0.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Taylor Pancoe collected 29 hits, 10 kills and 15 points to lead Cardinal Mooney High's volleyball team to a victory over Chaney Monday. The scores were 20-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-7.
Michelle Pelini registered 28 hits, 13 kills and 23 points for the Cardinals (8-2), while Dayna Daltorio added 15 hits, eight kills and 14 points.
Chaney is 7-3.
Mineral Ridge 25-25-25,Ursuline 14-13-8
MINERAL RIDGE -- Abbey Kiger had 18 serves and six aces, while Rachael Siler had nine kills for Mineral Ridge (8-3).
Emily Sheller had four blocks and Katie Garland had seven assists for the Rams.
Alessandra Parry had nine serves, seven kills and six blocks, while Jenna Kiraly had two aces and seven assists for the Irish (4-7).
Poland 25-25-25,Niles 15-19-20
NILES -- Dee Muransky had 20 kills, Dayna Blangero had 19 points and Doni Muransky had seven blocks for Poland.
For Niles (1-6, 0-6 Metro Athletic Conference), Laura Ruberto had 15 points and Ashley Byrom had six digs.
Lordstown 25-25-25,Maplewood 19-15-22
LORDSTOWN -- Emily Rech had 13 points, seven digs and two kills for Lordstown (9-0).
Samantha Kistler had 11 points, six digs, four kills and three blocks, Christa Israel had nine points, five digs and 10 kills and Alycia Israel added 14 points, two aces, 21 assists and four blocks.
For Maplewood (6-4), Jen Grayson had eight kills.
Warren Harding 26-25-25,Wilson 24-9-17
WARREN -- Amanda Comanescu had 17 points and three aces for the Raiders (3-6).
Jasmine Stringer added 20 points and five kills.
For the Redmen, Alex Cardarelle had six aces and two blocks.
Lakeview 25-25-25,Liberty 18-13-20
CORTLAND -- Lindsay Whetzel led the Bulldogs with 21 digs and 10 points.
Also for Lakeview (6-3, 4-2 Trumbull Athletic Conference), Chelsea Butler had eight kills and Michelle Antonelli had 23 assists.
Ami Markowitz led the Leopards (4-6, 2-4) with seven kills, 14 digs and five points.
