Michelle Long, Steven Wendland to wed Oct. 16

XCOLUMBUS -- Announcement is being made of the engagement of Michelle Suzanne Long and Steven Karl Wendland, both of 1815 Wetherburn Drive.
Parents of the couple are Richard and Marlene Long, 3216 Stoneway Drive E., Sandusky, and Karl and Donna Wendland, 78384 Buck Road, Beloit.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at Zion Lutheran Church in Sandusky and for a reception later that afternoon at Caesar's Crystal Palace, Sandusky.
Miss Long attended Bowling Green State University in Huron and is an executive recruiter for J. Gernetzke & amp; Associates in Gahanna.
Mr. Wendland holds an associate degree in hotel, restaurant and institutional management from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor's in business administration from Otterbein College. He is manager of Winegardner & amp; Hammons Inc. in Columbus.
