1. Warren Harding (4-0), vs. Lakewood St. Edward. After surviving a thriller against Mooney, the Raiders get another shot at the team that ousted them from the playoffs last season.2. Fitch (4-0), at Canton McKinley. The Falcons take their unbeaten and state-ranked team to Fawcett Stadium for a Federal League test.3. Cardinal Mooney (3-1), open. The Cardinals go into their bye week after a strong performance at Div. I Warren Harding.4. Howland (4-0), at Canfield. The Tigers face a second straight road challenge in the Metro Athletic Conference.5. Beaver Local (4-0), at Bellaire. The Beavers have allowed just 18 points in four games.6. Canfield (3-1), vs. Howland. The Cardinals must bounce back quickly after an overtime loss to Chaney.7. Ursuline (3-1), at St. Thomas Aquinas. The Irish travel to Aquinas, which is coached by Ursuline High graduate and former Youngstown State standout Tim Tyrrell.8. Hubbard (3-0), at Liberty. The Eagles totaled 250 yards rushing against Newton Falls in their Trumbull Athletic Conference opener.9. Lakeview (3-1), vs. LaBrae. The Bulldogs cooled off one hot passing team (Girard) and now gear for another.10. Rayen (3-1), vs. Canton Timken. Probably the biggest surprise of the young season, coach Brian Shaner and the Tigers open City Series play against Timken.
SMALL SCHOOLS
(Div. IV-VI)
1. Liberty (4-0), vs. Hubbard. A battle of unbeatens meet in this Trumbull Athletic Conference game at Leopard Stadium.2. Warren JFK (3-1), vs. Bluffton. After pounding Genoa, the Eagles play their second straight out-of-area team. JFK's offense is averaging 491/2 points per game.3. Girard (3-1), at Brookfield. Turnovers plagued the Indians in their first loss of the season -- to TAC opponent Lakeview.4. South Range (4-0), vs. Conneaut. The Raiders gave Lowellville a taste of their powerful ground game last week, piling up 354 yards.5. Mineral Ridge (4-0), at Jackson-Milton. The Rams battled the mud and Springfield with success in last week's Inter-County League opener and now play their fourth consecutive road game.6. Springfield (3-1), at Lowellville. After losing a key ICL game to Mineral Ridge, the Tigers look to heed coach John Smith's words of bouncing back.7. Crestview (3-1), vs. Columbiana. David Myers ran for 171 yards in the Rebels' trouncing of Lisbon.8. Columbiana (3-1), at Crestview. The Clippers scored 70 against Southern last week, led by Beau Papana's 198 yards rushing and four touchdowns.9. McDonald (3-1), at Western Reserve. The Blue Devils piled up 400 rushing yards in their rout of Danbury.10. LaBrae (3-1), at Lakeview. Danny Hartman ignited the Vikings' offense in their TAC opener against Brookfield. They'll look for back-to-back wins in Cortland.
