A mother's joy over the return of her daughter who was kidnapped 16 years earlier quickly fades when the girl's stepfather starts to suspect that things are not what they seem to be. Starring in "Found" (9 p.m., Lifetime), a new suspense movie, are Joanna Cassidy, Tania Saulnier and Greg Evigan.
Today marks the official start of the new season, and many of the networks' new series will debut this week. "Second Time Around" (9:30 p.m., UPN), a comedy, stars Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Parker as couple who fare better in their second marriage to each other.She's definitely the girlfriend you don't want: Omarosa Stallworth, last seen as a scheming would-be Trump apprentice, guest stars on the season premiere of "Girlfriends" (9 p.m., UPN). Drama queen Stallworth plays Trina, a suspicious type who accuses Joan, played by Tracee Ellis Ross, of having an affair.
Last season it was "Friends" and "Frasier." Now it's time for another wildly popular sitcom to launch its farewell tour. "Everybody Loves Raymond" (9 p.m., CBS) still one of the most consistently funny shows on TV, opens its ninth and final season with the first of 16 episodes. Jason Alexander spits in the face of the so-called "Seinfeld" curse by starring in the new sitcom "Listen Up" (8:30 p.m., CBS), which is about a sportswriter and his harried home life. The curse saw the pilot and spit back.
You better duck, sucker. Sean Penn has his fists up as he co-stars in the season opener of "Two and a Half Men" (9:30 p.m., CBS).
