Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, bridge and follies at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, New Middletown satellite, oil painting and exercise class at 10 a.m. and computer class at 10 and noon, blood pressure screening at noon, chorus at 1 p.m. and digital club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, tai chi at noon, blood pressure screening at 12:30 p.m., yoga and 500 at 1 and harvest dance at 7; Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., blood pressure screenings at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., square dancing at 1 and line dancing at 3; and Friday, exercise class at 10 a.m. and crafts at 12:30 p.m. The center has applications for the SBC telephone discount program of $12.39 per month for eligible applicants. SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, will have a Pressure Point Therapy Class from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday with Dr. Thomas Montgomery. Soup and dessert will follow the lecture along with bingo. On Sept. 30 there will be a card party and luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be prizes, basket raffle and 50-50 drawing.
