MEGAN LUTERANMATTHEW DUNLEAVY
XYOUNGSTOWN -- The rose garden at Mill Creek Park provided the setting Aug. 15 for the wedding of Megan Luteran of Deer Creek Court, Austintown, and Matthew Dunleavy, Ward Avenue, New Middletown. Officiating at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony was the Rev. John Hicks.
The daughter of Michael and Karen Luteran, South Oakdale Avenue, Hermitage, Pa., and the son of Dennis and Nancy Dunleavy of the Ward Avenue address were honored during a reception at Archangel Michael Center, Campbell.
Since returning from a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple live in Austintown.
Mrs. Dunleavy is pursuing a degree in environmental studies at Youngstown State University. She is a sales associate at Kaufmann's in Boardman.
Mr. Dunleavy works in assets protection at Target in Boardman. He is pursuing a degree in criminal justice at YSU.
The couple served three years in the 838th Military Police Co., Ohio National Guard and are YSU Army ROTC cadets.
The bride wore an ivory chiffon gown.
Amanda Blythe of Callaway, Md., was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Sarah Luteran of Hermitage, the bride's sister, and Rachel Dunleavy of New Middletown, the groom's sister. They wore sage-colored dresses.
Matt Kale of New Middletown performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Robert Wine of Youngstown, the groom's cousin, and Corey Luteran of Hermitage, the bride's brother.
