JENNIFER CHIZMARJASON KATZ
XYOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Jennifer Ann Chizmar and Jason Matthew Katz took place Aug. 15 in the Marble Room at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The daughter of Teresa Ausnehmer, 8013 Spartan Drive, Boardman, and Thomas Chizmar, 4291 Timberbrook Drive, Canfield, and the son of Louis and Catherine Katz, 345 Indianola Road, Boardman, exchanged vows in the presence of Rabbi Joel Berman.
A reception followed in the auditorium ballroom, and the couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
They are living in Austintown.
The bride wore a strapless, A-line gown of white satin enhanced with silver sequins. The skirt extended to a semicathedral train.
The groom's sister, Laura Katz, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Katherine Jones, the bride's cousin, and Kimberly Nyers and Meredith Trevis. They wore apple-red gowns.
The duties of best man were shared by the groom's brothers, Steven and Brian Katz, and groomsmen were Mark Danus and Brett Miller.
Mrs. Katz holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and is a certified public accountant with Schroedel, Scullin & amp; Bestic in Canfield.
Her husband holds a degree in political science from YSU and a juris doctorate from the University of Akron. He is an assistant prosecutor with the Mahoning County Prosecutor's Office in Youngstown.
