Former residents are marking golden event

XFORT WORTH, Texas -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Glover, 7395 Cottonwood Creek Road, formerly of Hubbard, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 2.
The couple will be honored during a family dinner at Mancuso's restaurant at a later date.
The dinner will be hosted by the honorees' children, Debbie L. Moore of Aledo, Texas; Rob L. Glover of Columbus, Miss.; and R.T. Glover of Holyoke, Mass. The family circle also includes five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. A son, Robert L. Glover, is deceased.
The former Sylvia Ann Cramer and Mr. Glover exchanged marriage vows in 1954 at Coitsville Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Glover retired in 1995 as a supervisor in the claims office for the state of Texas.
Retiring in 1989, Mr. Glover was a supervisor with Parker Hannifin. He served in the U.S. Navy.
