CHRISTY BUTCHERINETOD ALLEN
XNORTH LIMA -- Good Hope Lutheran Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 14 for the wedding of Christy Marie Butcherine and Tod E. Allen. The bride is a daughter of Patricia A. Brunner, 45544 Hampshire St., Macomb, Mich. Mr. Allen is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allen, 11526 South Ave.
The Rev. Ralph Edwards officiated, and a reception was held at The Georgetown in Boardman. After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the newlyweds are living in North Jackson.
A white and ivory floor-length gown of satin organza was worn by the bride. It featured spaghetti straps and was embossed with flowers and detailed with pearls, bugle beads and rhinestones.
Maid of honor was Sarah Dlwgosh, wearing a violet gown. Bridesmaids were Michelle Brunner, the bride's cousin, and Wendy Blazer, Carie Fisher and Colleen Dean. They wore eggplant-colored gowns. Zoe Andre, the groom's cousin, was flower girl.
David Allen served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Tony Simboli; Ed Treharne, the groom's cousin; Chad Butcherine, the bride's brother; and Nick Shrum. Ring bearer was Cody Allen, his nephew.
Mrs. Allen is a student at Youngstown State University and is employed as a seat assembler at Intier Automotive in Lordstown.
Her husband is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at YSU and is a manufacturing engineer at Intier Automotive.
