Following a confrontation with Paul in Llanview, Babe returned home and declared that she has decided not to divorce J.R. David and Krystal probed Babe, who admitted that she thinks her son is alive. Investigating Babe's theory, Krystal encountered Kelly and realized that she is keeping a secret about her baby. Aidan told Kendall that her gun held blanks, and that Ryan was shot with a high-powered rifle. As Kendall vowed to an unconscious Ryan that she wouldn't try to hurt him and Greenlee anymore, Ryan opened his eyes. Maria, concerned by Edmund's vendetta against Zach, asked Aidan to persuade Edmund to stop his investigation. Zach denied to Maria that Ethan is his son.

Jack needed to find out who he is before becoming intimate with Julia. However, when Jack received a reminder of his crazy ex-wife Julia, Jack decided he wanted nothing more to do with his former life. Jack and Julia made love, just as Carly issued a television appeal for his return, but Julia's cable went out so they never witnessed it. Thomas and Amber made love, despite an interruption when the police served Amber with a restraining order and Thomas had to hide. As the Spectra fashion show drew near, Stephanie made a last-minute plea to Thorne to cancel the event and return to Forrester. Jackie realized that Spectra knocked off Forrester designs and called Eric, who along with Stephanie and Ridge had an angry confrontation with Thorne. Thorne denied Ridge's accusation that Spectra stole their designs. When Rick was uneasy at taking Caitlin to the homecoming dance because of their age difference, Thomas offered to do it as a friend.

Helena recruited Tracy to help her split up Nikolas and Emily. After they paid off Nurse Harris, the nurse claimed to have seen Emily entering Mary's room with pills, and Emily was arrested. Lucky was then suspended from the force when Ric accused him of covering for Emily. Steven, Durant's associate, was hired at the police department after Durant put pressure on Ric. Durant ordered Steven to find out if Carly is really his daughter and planned on using her to bring down Sonny if that is the case. Sonny convinced Faith to accept a plea bargain, but she vowed revenge on him, Ric and Alexis after receiving a 10-year prison term. Steven wanted nothing to do with his estranged mother, Heather.

Although pretending to be remorseful, Dinah told Jeffrey and Edmund that she intends to seek her freedom. When Dinah refused to return to Europe with Jeffrey, he vowed to prosecute her, despite her threats to reveal his secrets. Cassie said yes when Edmund proposed marriage. Harley and Bill decided to infiltrate Spaulding by getting a mole hired as Phillip's new assistant. Phillip took the bait; unaware that Ruth is actually Harley. Lizzie recruited J.B. to tell Tammy about Lizzie and Joey's night together. The news made Tammy reject Joey, as Lizzie planned, but Joey figured out that Lizzie and J.B. are working together.

Devastated to learn from Angelina's letter that his life has been a lie, Antonio found out from Sonia why she kept the truth from him, and Antonio responded to her kiss. When John was about to arrest Antonio, Sonia secretly arranged for an FBI agent to take him into custody. Asa forced Todd and Blair out of the mansion at gunpoint and had Todd's assets frozen. When Asa insulted Starr, a fuming Blair hit him on the head with a candlestick and she and Todd dumped Asa in the woods. A vengeful Asa started to make his way back home. Kevin gave in to Dorian's threat and permitted Kelly to spend time with Ace.
PASSIONS
Luis and Sheridan were joined in a commitment ceremony. However, Luis later awoke from a nightmare to find Sheridan missing. Kay and Simone were unsure if their plan to alter Chad's medical records was successful. Meanwhile, no one wanted to hear Eve and Julian's explanations about their past, while Chad still sought a way to be part of Whitney's life. Katherine and Martin were put on the spot when Paloma's live computer feed of Sheridan and Luis' reception brought them face to face with Pilar.
