LEAVITTSBURG -- No arrests were made during a raid at the Short Stop Truck Stop here, but state and local officials confiscated six video electronic gambling devices, $1,600 in cash and business records.
Agents from the Ohio Investigation Unit, formerly known as the state Liquor Control agency, raided the truck stop late Friday morning.
The manager of the truck stop could not be reached to comment.
"The township police department assisted us in the execution of the search warrant," said Rita Raimer, agent in charge. "No one was taken into custody. Charges are pending."
She declined to state what type of criminal charges might be filed.

The raid was the result of a two-month investigation, Raimer said.
Raimer, however, noted that the truck stop has a liquor license and would be facing administrative violations.
"There will be several gambling violations against them," Raimer said.
A search warrant was issued by Judge Terry Ivanchak of Warren Municipal Court, which has jurisdiction over Leavittsburg. The return of the warrant, which states specifically what was confiscated during the raid, had not been returned to the court Friday afternoon.
