XWarren Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will hold a membership social from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Warren SCOPE Center. POLITICAL CLUBS
XCanfield Republican Women will meet Oct. 6 at A La Cart Catering, Canfield. The social time will start at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30. The program will be "Meet the Candidates" with a talk by Troy Magrini Jr., who attended the Republican Convention in New York. SINGLES
XCatholic Single Adults Club will visit several wineries in northern Ohio Sept. 25. Carpooling will be from Arby's in the Liberty Plaza. Call (724) 346-4051 by Thursday for reservations and information.
XD.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet for bowling at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at Boardman Lanes. Other activities include a dance at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at Choices at the Holiday Inn, Liberty; biking on the trail at Kirk Road at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27 or dance lessons at 7; walking at Mill Creek Park hiking trail at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 28 or dance lessons at 7; golf short holes at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at Mill Creek; and meeting at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at Boardman Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. XHammond Organ Society of the Mahoning Valley will meet at 7 p.m. Friday in the basement at Faith Community United Church of Christ. Hospitality will be provided by Linda Quinn, Helen Sutherland and Elmer Haidle. Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in organ music. Entertainment will be by members.

XMahoning Valley Chapter of Transplant Recipients will hold a picnic from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26. Interested persons should call (330) 782-7933.
XUPMC Horizon Weight Loss Surgery Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon. Members will participate in a protein tasting party and are invited to take their favorite protein recipes to share.
