CARA BOKESCHALVIN CARROLL
XLAS VEGAS -- Cara Maria Bokesch and Alvin Paul Carroll, both of 3635 Ferdinand Road, Austintown, were married by the Rev. Dr. Jack Moore at Treasure Island Hotel during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Aug. 13.
The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.
A postnuptial reception Aug. 21 at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman, honored the couple.
Parents of the newlyweds are Dan and Dena Bokesch, 1851 Countryside Road, Austintown, and Tim and Barb Carroll, 4457 Sheely Road, Leetonia.
Pearls and sequins accented the bride's strapless, georgette, A-line gown styled with a chapel train.
Wearing silver dresses were the honor attendant, Jamie Diego of Canfield, and the bridesmaids, Laura Sheets of Youngstown, Laura Wem of Canfield and Leandra Mikula of Columbus.
Performing the duties of best man was John Reiss of Canfield. Groomsmen were Tim Verhoek of Golden Valley, Ariz.; Mike McMahon of Chicago, the bride's cousin; and Dan Bokesch of Columbus, her brother.
Mrs. Carroll is a teacher in Austintown Local School District. She earned a bachelor's degree in education at Youngstown State University.
A computer technician at Best Buy in Boardman, Mr. Carroll attended YSU.
