Lowellville stops Campbell; Girard cruises past LaBrae

CAMPBELL -- Kaitlin McCarthy had four aces and 12 kills, as Lowellville High defeated Campbell Memorial, 25-14, 25-15, 25-8, in a volleyball match Wednesday.
Lindsay Wilson had 15 assists and seven aces for the Rockets (2-5), and Kathy Peterson had seven kills.
Girard 25-25-25, LaBrae 19-20-23
GIRARD -- Elise Roscoe scored nine points, with 14 kills, three aces and five digs to pace the Indians (9-2, 4-1) in a Trumbull Athletic Conference game.
Brittany Kay had nine digs, five kills and three aces.
Maddie D'Orio led the Vikings (4-2, 3-1) with 21 kills and five blocks. Stephanie Higgins had 11 points. Lindsey Higgins had 26 assists.

BROOKFIELD -- Courtney Christy led the Warriors (5-4, 2-2 TAC) with three aces while Rachel Pasquerilla had 26 assists and Laura Klouse had five blocks.
Taralee Williams had 25 digs while Morgan Bonekovic had 17 kills and 12 points.
For the Tigers (1-6, 0-5), Lindsay McCartney had an ace, seven points and 10 digs while Molly Lenarcie had five blocks and six kills.
