INVESTIGATION Austintown police arrest 2 in burglary

AUSTINTOWN -- Police say they're working to determine whether two teens arrested on burglary charges Wednesday are tied to several recent thefts from cars and sheds in the township.
Shawn Squires, 18, of Covington Street, McDonald, and Shawn Georgiadis-Rauschenbach, 17, of Portland Avenue, Youngstown, are each charged with felony burglary and felony receiving stolen property.
An officer said he spotted Squires and Georgiadis-Rauschenbach coming out of the woods near Highway Tabernacle on South Raccoon Road about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and getting into a car that had been noticed in the area of the thefts.
Reports state that when police searched the car, they found $324 in cash and a wallet that belonged to a man who lived nearby on Sheffield Drive.
Police think the teens went into the Sheffield Drive home through an open patio door and stole the wallet and money.
The teens said they found the wallet and money in the woods, reports state. Police said they also found five bottles of pills not prescribed to Squires or Georgiadis-Rauschenbach in the car, as well as a bottle of pills with no label.
