Township trustees met Monday and authorized:
Purchase of replacement radios for the fire department from Staley Communications of Boardman at a cost of $11,320.
Purchase of replacement vehicle rescue tools for the fire department from Sutphen Corporation of Amlin, Ohio, at a cost of $12,960.
Purchase and installation of a receiver system from Staley Communications of Boardman at a cost of $23,165.
Purchase of two automated external defribillators for the police department from Blackburn's of Tarentum, Pa., at a cost of $2,990.
Purchase and installation of security fencing for the police department's radio tower from Austintown Fence Company of Austintown at a cost of $4,309.
Purchase of 925 D.A.R.E. T-shirts for the police department from Trolio's of Boardman at a cost of $3,493.
Authorized second quarter contribution to Ohio police and fire pension fund in the amount of $139,010.
