XBOARDMAN -- Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, was the honeymoon destination of Adam John Turner and his bride, the former Sara Lyn Davidson, following their Aug. 7 wedding at Boardman United Methodist Church. The Rev. Peg Welch officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held afterward at Mr. Anthony's.
The daughter of Bill and Edie Davidson, 58 Ferncliff Ave., and son of Dan and Mary Ann Turner, 1319 Meadowood Circle, Poland, and Joyce and Rich Denzer of Venice, Fla., live in Streetsboro.
The bride's A-line satin gown was enhanced with bugle beads. It featured a wrap-waist bodice and a semi-cathedral train.
Victorian lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Rebecca Davidson, and the bridesmaids, Roklyn Turner, Carolyn Craig, Jennifer Campbell, Gretchen Heck, Anne-Marie Turner, and Sarah Turner. Flower girl was Alexis Cailor.
Justin Turner and Dan Turner Jr. shared the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Anthony Albanese, Michael Murphy, Paul Pirko, George Metzka, and Anthony Sgambati. Ring bearer was Dillon Cailor.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Ohio University and a master's in education in school psychology from Kent State University. She is a school psychology intern with Mayfield City School District, Mayfield Heights.
The groom is general manager with Murphy Concrete Co., Poland. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
