KRISTINA PETRISCOTT MEROLA
XNILES -- A honeymoon in the Poconos followed the Aug. 14 wedding of Scott Anthony Merola and his bride, the former Kristina Lynn Petri, both of 249 Pennsylvania Ave., McDonald, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. The Revs. John Wigle and Art Nicolli officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the bride are David S. and Lisa L. Petri, 3504 Cheshire Square, Sarasota, Fla. The groom is a son of Elizabeth Merola of McDonald and Wayne R. Seitz of Erie, Pa.
The bride wore a Victorian-style gown in off-white.
Mrs. Merola is employed as a sales associate at Victoria's Secret, and her husband is a stock clerk at Santisi's IGA in Girard. Both are attending Youngstown State University. She is pursuing a degree in early childhood education and he, a degree in secondary education.
Honor attendants were Betsy Littie and Tessa Soltesz, both of McDonald. Bridesmaids were Serena and Emily Petri, both of Sarasota, the bride's sisters; Maria Merola, McDonald, the groom's sister; and Joanna Petri, Pembroke Pines, Fla., the bride's cousin. They wore red wine dresses. Flower girls were Zoe Petri, Sarasota, the bride's sister, and Caitlyn Murphy, McDonald.
Serving as best man was Kurt Jacobs, Huron. Groomsmen were David Petri, Sarasota, the bride's brother; Nick Merola, McDonald, the groom's brother; Rick and Matt Vukovic, both of McDonald; and Brandon Richardson, Youngstown. Ring bearer was Erin Murphy, McDonald.
