Acting workshop with Stage Left Players
LISBON -- Sean Loutzenhiser will conduct acting workshops in conjunction with Stage Left Players, beginning next week. Loutzenhiser is finishing his studies at American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Pupils in grades 8-12 will meet from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sundays through Sept. 26 (fee is $50); adults, 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Sept. 27 ($40); and pupils in grades 3-7, 4:15-5:15 p.m. Tuesdays through Sept. 27 ($30). An audition workshop and mock dance audition will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 25; cost is $20. All sessions will be at Outreach Center, 234 E. Lincoln Way. Call (330) 424-5093 to register.
'Intensive Care' set
YOUNGSTOWN -- "Intensive Care," a play based on a set of poems by award-winning poet and emergency room nurse Jeanne Bryner, will be performed at 8 p.m. Sept. 18 in the Chestnut Room of YSU's Kilcawley Center. Tickets are available from YSU's Center for Working-Class Studies for $10.

LIBERTY -- Trophies will be awarded to the strangest, best decorated and best of show cars at Liberty Historical Society's Fall Fest and Car Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in Church Hill Park. There also will be crafts, displays and a DJ.
