NOT GONE: Maureen Garrett returns as Holly on "Guiding Light" when new information about one of the show's most infamous villains, Roger Thorpe, comes to light. The late Michael Zaslow portrayed Thorpe, but his storyline has never been wrapped up. Garrett is first scheduled to appear Sept. 29. Buzz's son, Henry Cooper Bradshaw has returned to the fold on "GL," with John Driscoll in the role that has already put him at odds with Gus.
RETURN: Meanwhile, on "All My Children," Michael Cambias makes a brief return from the dead to fill in some more details about the fascinating Cambias clan. William deVry reprises his former role starting Tuesday.
JOINED CAST: Jesse Soffer has joined the cast of "As the World Turns" in the role of Will Munson, who is now incarcerated in the state mental hospital. The actor portrayed Max on "Guiding Light" in 1999 and appeared as Bobby Brady in the two Brady Bunch feature films.
HERE AND THERE: "Young and Restless" is playing crossover this week with the new CBS nighttime series "The Clubhouse." On Thursday, Bobby shares his enjoyment of baseball with Brittany as they watch a New York Empires game on TV, the Empires being the fictional team featured in "The Clubhouse." Later in the fall, the manager of the Empires will be shown watching an episode of "Y & amp;R" in his office.
GOVERNING: Starting next month, "One Life to Live" will bring back the role of Gov. Harrison with Andrew Masset now in the part. The actor previously played Larry on "Days of Our Lives." Another former "Days" player, Jensen Ackles (ex-Eric) has been added to the cast of the nighttime series "Smallville" in the role of a wealthy college student, Jason Teague.
