October wedding for Miss Peruzzi, Mr. Brookbank

XGIRARD -- The engagement of Alyssa Marie Peruzzi and Christopher Lee Brookbank, both of 410 Elruth Court, is announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Dennis Peruzzi, 4002 Hermitage Hills Blvd., Hermitage, Pa., and the late Virginia Peruzzi. Parents of the future groom are Jeffrey and Diane Brookbank, 2485 Poplar St.
Miss Peruzzi, a special-education teacher at Lordstown Elementary School in Warren, graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in special education.
Mr. Brookbank served with the U.S. Army from 1992 to 2001. He is an equipment maintenance superintendent with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in Ravenna.
An open wedding has been planned by the couple for 1:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Girard First United Methodist Church. Their evening reception will be held by invitation in the ballroom at Mahoning Country Club.
