XGIRARD -- Melissa Marie Lago and Jeffrey Allen Jones, both of 8568 Clover Glade Drive, Lewis Center, were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 14 at St. Rose Church.
The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Peter Haladej, and a reception was held afterward at Tiffany's in Brookfield.
Riviera de Maya in Mexico was the honeymoon destination for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lago, 664 Santa Monica Drive, Youngstown, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jones, 1811 Halbert Drive, Youngstown. They live in Lewis Center.
The bride wore a strapless ballgown of ivory and rum matte satin that featured a cathedral train.
Taupe gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Kristen Gallo, and the bridesmaids, Jessie Jones, the groom's daughter, and Timi Danks, the bride's cousin. Flower girl was her niece, Isabella Gallo.
Ronald Jones was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Jason Gallo, the bride's brother-in-law, and Christopher Waller, nephew of the groom. Ring bearer was Cameron Jones, and junior usher was Nicholas Jones, also nephews of the groom.
The bride, who will use the name Lago-Jones, graduated from Ohio State University with bachelor's and master's degrees in education.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in history at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., and a master's in education at Western Maryland College, Westminster, Md.
They are teachers at the Ohio School for the Deaf in Columbus.
