XBOARDMAN -- St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 as Laurie Sinchak and Franco Carusone were united in marriage by the Rev. Richard Speicher.
The daughter of Nancy and George Sinchak of Austintown and the son of Anna and Michael Carusone of Ozone Park, N.Y., were honored afterward during a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre.
The couple traveled to Italy for their honeymoon and live in Austintown.
Beading and floral appliques enhanced the bride's white, strapless, A-line gown, and she held a bouquet of calla lilies and coral roses.
The honor attendant, Lynne Sinchak, wore a coral and white gown, as did the bridesmaids, Ann Marie Modarelli, Kim Gonda, Krystle Carusone and Lindsey Carusone.
Frankie Carusone performed the duties of best man, and serving as ushers were Greg Sinchak, Chris Wager, Larry Suliot and Josh Hinerman.
The bride, an assistant with Radiology Consultants Inc. in Youngstown, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting at Youngstown State University.
The groom is a maintenance supervisor with Cocca Development.
