KERRI COGANCHRISTOPHER WARGO
XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- St. Paul the Apostle Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. July 31 for the wedding of Kerri Ann Cogan and Christopher Anthony Wargo.
Parents of the couple are Paul and Linda Cogan, 1580 Canton Road N.W., Carrollton, and Eugene and Jean Wargo, 110 Robinwood Drive.
The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated, and a reception took place at Aulizio's Banquet Center in Warren.
The couple are living in Columbia, S.C., since returning from a trip to Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg, Fla.
A white strapless A-line gown was worn by the bride. It was embellished with embroidery.
Her sister, Kimberly Santagata, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Andrea Stewart; the bride's cousin, Michelle Moria; Dawn Hopple; and Mary Kyriakides. They wore periwinkle gowns.
Terrance Welsh was best man, and groomsmen were Kevin Cogan, the bride's brother; Michael Pavelko; and Michael and Anthony Calcagni, the groom's cousins.
A graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, Mrs. Wargo is an electrocardiogram technician for Palmetto Health in Columbia.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in geology from KSU and will receive his master's degree in oceanography from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he is a teaching assistant and geology lab coordinator.
