XGIBRALTAR -- Caleta Gardens provided the setting for the Aug. 17 wedding of Karin Richardson and Dr. Vincent P. Scoccia, both of Tunapark, Nev.
The couple exchanged marriage vows before Melvin Farrell, the marriage registrar of Gibraltar, during the 12:30 p.m. ceremony.
A reception was held afterward at Klause on the Rocks.
The couple honeymooned in Morocco and live in Tunapark.
The bride is a daughter of Jim Richardson of Salem and Sandra Flood of Micco, Fla.
The groom is a son of Vincent J. and Barbara T. Scoccia, 5 Timberlake Drive, Hubbard.
A beaded bodice highlighted the bride's strapless mermaid-style gown, and a tiara held her veil.
Cheryl Sowder of Houston was honor attendant.
Robert Shillenn of Washington, D.C., performed the duties of best man. David Sowder of Houston served as a groomsman.
Mrs. Scoccia graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in accounting. Dr. Scoccia earned a doctor of osteopathy degree at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines, Iowa. They are self-employed.
