XYOUNGSTOWN -- The Riveria Maya, Mexico, was the honeymoon destination of Kurt DiLisio Jr., 6450 St. Andrews Drive, Canfield, and his bride, the former Jennifer Licata, 1292 Valley View Drive, Boardman, who were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at St. Christine Church by the Rev. G. David Weikart.
A reception followed at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
The bride is a daughter of Joanne Licata of the Valley View Drive address and Dennis Licata, 84 Gertrude Ave., Boardman. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Kurt DiLisio Sr., 3600 Newton Falls Road, Diamond.
Mrs. DiLisio graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree. She is a teacher at Wilson High School.
Mr. DiLisio graduated from Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and earned a bachelor's degree at YSU. He is a registered nurse at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.
A beaded and embroidered full-length mantilla complemented the bride's ballgown.
Honor attendant was Tina Ballmer, who wore a lilac dress. Bridesmaids were Kristin Gorgei, Stephanie Keller, Theresa Mottle, Jennifer Price and Jennifer Yuhasz. Junior bridesmaid was Miranda Ballmer. They wore fuchsia dresses. Flower girl was Miriah Ballmer.
Matthew DiLisio was best man. Groomsmen were Craig Ballmer, Frank Licata, Jeremy Koontz, Vince Sylvester and Matthew Yuhasz. Ushers were Daniel Licata, Joseph Licata and James Sylvester.
The couple live at the groom's address.
