Serving in Kyrgyzstan
Air Force Senior Airman Stephanie Nye Pannutti was deployed to Kyrgyzstan in Southwest Asia as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She is based in Little Rock, Ark. While in Kyrgyzstan, the 1999 graduate of Lowellville High School will perform maintenance on aircraft computer systems. She was deployed July 22, and is expected to be there four months. She is the daughter of Edward and Lisa Pannutti, and sister of Kelly, Melissa and Jodie Pannutti.
Kosovo assignment
Army National Guard Sgt. Cletus B. Payne has been mobilized, activated and deployed to Kosovo as a member of the United States Army contingent serving as part of the Multinational Brigade-East. He is assigned to Task Force Falcon at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.
Payne, a cavalry scout, is the son of Cletus Payne of Longs Church Road, and Ms. J. Cable of Kings Ridge Road, both of East Liverpool, and his wife is Nicki. Payne is a 1989 graduate of East Liverpool High School, and a 1996 graduate of the University of Cincinnati.

Nuclear power course
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Sean W. Runyon, son of Michele C. and Donald E. Runyon of New Castle, Pa., recently completed the Navy Nuclear Power Training Unit course with the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, N.Y. Runyon is a 2000 graduate of New Castle High School.

Leadership training grad
Todd A. Belinky has graduated from the four-week Army ROTC -- Reserve Officers' Training Corps -- Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as "Operation Warrior Forge," at Fort Lewis, Wash. Upon successful completion of the training course and graduation from college, cadets are commissioned as second lieutenants in the Army, National Guard or Army Reserve.
Belinky is the son of Mark A. and Cynthia Belinky of Youngstown. He graduated in 2000 from Boardman High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 2004 from John Carroll University, University Heights.
