Alaskan cruise is anniversary gift for Coles

XORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- The 50th anniversary of former Youngstown residents Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cole, 19 Bluewater Lake Circle, was celebrated during an Alaskan tour that departed from Seattle, Wash.
The weeklong cruise was arranged by the couple's children, Maxine McGuire of Mason, Robert Cole of Arvado, Colo., and Timothy Cole of Oviedo, Fla. There are eight grandchildren in the family.
Mr. Cole and the former Leeann Cooper were married Aug. 8, 1954, at Rodef Sholom Temple in Youngstown.
Mrs. Cole retired in 1995 as an administrative assistant with Merrell/Dow Pharmaceuticals of Cincinnati.
Her husband retired in 1974 as a master sergeant with the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of active military service. He is a member of the Moose Lodge, Air Force Sergeants Association and Disabled Americans Veterans.
The couple are members of Grace Lutheran Church.
