On sale now: Canadian indie-rock band Sloan will play Sept. 21 at Mr. Small's Theater, 400 Lincoln Ave.; and Christian rock acts Third Day and Toby Mac will perform Oct. 17 at A.J. Palumbo Center, 2825 Penn Ave. Call Ticketmaster.
On sale at noon Saturday: A number of bands will be performing at Mr. Small's Theater, including Lucky Boy Confusion, a Chicago band that plays pop, rock and ska-influenced original songs, Oct. 7; North Mississippi All Stars and Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Oct. 17; British retro-pop band Gomez, Oct. 22; and the politically-charged trio Le Tigre, Oct. 27. Also on sale at noon Saturday: Metal bands Lamb of God and Fear Factory are booked Oct. 8 at The Rock Club, 2 Station Square; and soulful Irish rock and pop band Hothouse Flowers will cut loose Oct. 12 at Hard Rock Cafe, 5 Station Square. Call Ticketmaster.
