MERCER COUNTY Man sentenced for taking photos
One man was sentenced for stealing items valued at more than $7,000.

MERCER, Pa. -- A Greenville man will serve one to four years in prison for photographing a 12-year-old girl dressed in her underwear.
Judge Francis Fornelli of Mercer County Common Pleas Court handed down the sentence to James Buie, 42, of Sixth Avenue, on a misdemeanor charge of corruption of minors. The offense took place in July or August 2003 at a Hempfield Township address.
Judge Fornelli also sentenced these people this week:
URonald Klass, 33, of North Perry Highway, Mercer, 10 days to two years in jail for receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor. He was given credit for 10 days served and paroled. Court documents say that in October 2001 police found him in possession of a stolen Yamaha motorcycle at his home.
UJames Wilson, 42, of Mercer-New Wilmington Road, Mercer, two days to one year for possessing drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. When stopped for a traffic offense on Mercer-New Wilmington Road, East Lackawannock Township, on Jan. 9, he had a pipe and copper mesh commonly used for smoking marijuana, court documents say.
Judge John Reed sentenced these people this week:
UCarla Everson, 25, of Dutch Lane, Hermitage, placed on one year's probation for possessing a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Court documents say that on Jan. 10 she obtained 60 OxyContin tablets from Reynolds Drug Store, Reynolds Plaza, Pymatuning Township, by using a false name and saying she was picking up the prescription for someone else.
UBrian Mosley, 27, of Ormond Avenue, Sharon, placed on three years' probation and ordered to make restitution for misdemeanor forgery. Mosley cashed and signed three checks totaling $725 and withdrew $2,675 from First National Bank, 3320 E. State St., Hermitage, without permission of the account holders.
UJoshua Parker, 23, of the Mercer County Jail, six to 18 months in jail followed by five years' probation for felony burglary. He was ordered to serve the term concurrent to a sentence he is already serving in Ohio. Details of the earlier conviction were not available. Court documents say in October 1999, Parker threw a rock through the glass front door of Carriage House Distributors, 120 Liberty St., Jamestown. Once inside, he took $7,000 cash as well as 11 cartons of cigarettes and 33 phone cards worth an additional $690. The damage to the front door was $500. Parker was ordered to make restitution.
ULarry Spradlin, 20, of Third Avenue, Sharon, placed on two years' probation for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a felony. Court documents say Spradlin sold marijuana to an informant at a Third Avenue, Sharon, address Dec. 30.
