HOWLAND -- Stoneridge has named Joseph Mallak its chief financial officer, effective Sept. 14. Mallak replaces Kevin Bagby, who is resigning Tuesday to pursue other opportunities.

Most recently, Mallak was vice president and division chief financial officer for the Greenlee Group, a unit of Textron Inc. He was responsible for accounting and finance operations for the group, which includes the company's professional tools, test and measurement, and Intesys plastics businesses.
Howland-based Stoneridge makes electrical and electronic components for vehicles, although nearly all of its employees are outside the area.
