PREP SOCCER Bowlen guides Fitch past Perry

AUSTINTOWN -- Jodi Bowlen scored three goals to pace Austintown Fitch High past Massillon Perry 10-1 in a girls soccer game Wednesday. The Falcons (2-1-1) got two goals each from Kristie Brenelinger, Britteny Getz and Dina Harris, and Courtney Ciavarella added one. Tiarra Sanders, Teresa Camens, Bowlen, Brenelinger and Getz each had assists. Fitch had 38 shots on goal, compared to six for Perry (0-3-1).

BELOIT -- Lisa Bell and Melanie Kiko each scored three goals for the Warriors (2-1, 1-0). Ashley Kurena, Allyson Kuentz, Niki Brown and Courtney Salvino added two goals apiece. McKenzie Wallace had two assists.

CORTLAND -- Kristina Peterson scored three goals for the Rockets (1-3). Tori Spencer had the other goal. Nikki Grant and Leaha Roher each had an assists. Maplewood had 16 shots on goal, compared to four for Pymatuning Valley.

KINSMAN -- Hannah Miller, Shannon Sudon and Jenna Miller each scored a goal for the Braves (3-0, 1-0 Northeast Athletic Conference). Tessa Bonar had two assists. Badger had 20 shots on goal, compared to five for the Panthers. Kylie Robertson had 18 saves for Bristol (2-1, 0-1).
