Avalon Holdings namesnew treasurer-CFO
HOWLAND -- Avalon Holdings Corp. has promoted Frank Lamanna, 40, to treasurer and chief financial officer, replacing Timothy Coxson.
Coxson has resigned from those positions and will be moving to Florida. He will continue to work for the company, however, as director of corporate services. He will report to Ronald Klingle, company chairman, and will assist Lamanna in his transition.
Lamanna has been controller since 2001 and previously was vice president of corporate financial services. He is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University.
Howland-based Avalon Holdings owns Avalon Golf and Country Club, which includes two golf courses, restaurants and banquet facilities, and provides hazardous and non-hazardous waste management services to companies and governments.
