VERONICA MAROCHRISTOPHER RUNYAN
XLATROBE, Pa. -- A honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, followed the wedding of Veronica Maro, 5109 Brightwood Road, Bethel Park, Pa., and Christopher Runyan, 105 Parkwood Road, Verona, Pa., that took place Sept. 25 at St. Vincent Archabbey Basilica.
The Rev. Kevin Dominik officiated at the 12:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of John and Louise Maro, 4042 New Castle Road, Lowellville, and the son of James and Jackie Runyan of the Verona address.
The couple received guests during a reception at Ferrante's Lakeview, Greensburg, Pa.
Mr. and Mrs. Runyan are employed by U.S. Steel Computer Service Center, Pittsburgh, where he is a systems analyst and she is a program developer. She earned a bachelor's degree in computer information systems at Youngstown State University. He graduated from St. Vincent College, Latrobe, with a bachelor's degrees in computer science and chemistry.
Swarovski crystals, bugle beads and sequins adorned the bride's diamond-white gown styled with semicathedral train.
Sarah Livesay of Struthers was honor attendant. She wore a champagne-rose colored dress, as did the bridesmaids, Terri Layshock of Columbus and Jessica Evanson of Struthers. The bride's niece, Elizabeth Maro of Austintown, was flower girl.
Serving as best man was Gary Winner of Pennsylvania. Groomsmen were John Weiland and Brian Moore, both of Penn Hills, Pa., and Mike Saul of Ross Township, Pa.
The couple live in Bethel Park.
