XYOUNGSTOWN -- Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church provided the setting for the Sept. 25 wedding of Melanie Ginnis of Boardman and Ryan Bodine of Willoughby, who exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. before Monsignor Robert Siffrin.
The bride is a daughter of JoAnn Ginnis of Boardman and Emanuel Ginnis of Lowellville. Parents of the groom are Frank and Marcia Bodine of Lowellville.
After a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman they left for a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii.
Crystal beading enhanced the bodice, hemline and cathedral train of the bride's strapless, A-line gown of white satin.
Honor attendants were Melanie Gaffney and Candace Madick. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Bodine, the groom's sister; Jennifer Parella, the bride's cousin; and Lisa D'Amico and Melissa Porter. They wore red dresses. Flower girl was Madison Terlizzi, her cousin.
Best man was Matthew Bodine, the groom's brother. Groomsmen were Bryan Bodine, his cousin, and Chris Liptak, Joe Slaven, Joe Petrilli and Brett Olson. The bride's godson, Michael Evanko, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Bodine earned bachelor's and master's degrees in chemistry at Youngstown State University. She is a compliance specialist at Amresco Inc., Solon.
Mr. Bodine is chief estimator at Marous Bros. Construction, Willoughby. He earned a bachelor's degree in technology at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green.
They live in Lyndhurst.
