Dr. Phillips, Dr. Brennsteiner to wed Nov. 27

XThe engagement of Dr. Shannon Phillips, 73 French St., Somerset, N.J., and Dr. Albert Brennsteiner, 280 River Road, Piscataway, N.J., is being announced by their parents.
The future bride is a daughter of Janet DeCarlo, 601 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, and Richard A. Phillips of Port Richey, Fla. Dr. Brennsteiner is a son of Edith Brennsteiner, 1249 Pittsburgh Road, Uniontown, Pa., and the late John J. Brennsteiner.
The couple's open ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Nov. 27 at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for a reception to be held that evening at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman.
Dr. Phillips graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and earned a doctorate in analytical chemistry at Ohio State University. She is a research investigator with Bristol-Myers Squibb in New Brunswick, N.J.
Her fiance graduated from New Mexico State University with a doctorate in analytical chemistry. He is an application laboratory supervisor at Jobin Yvon in Edison, N.J.
