TRUMBULL COUNTY | Grand jury indictments

The Trumbull County grand jury indicted a security guard on a charge of felonious assault. Michael A. Harris, 45, of Belvedere Avenue Southeast, Warren, was indicted on the charge Tuesday. Warren police say Harris shot at Eddie Robertson, 17, on Sept. 6. Harris was providing security for Sparkle Market, 2788 W. Market St., at the time of the shooting. Robertson had a small wound on the right side of his head. He was treated at a local hospital. Harris had told police that Robertson had a knife and he felt threatened. Robertson denied having a knife. The grand jury also indicted:
Dennis C. Benson, 54, of Thompson-Sharpsville Road, Masury, illegal cultivation of marijuana and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jeremy W. Coiner, 31, Ohio State Penitentiary, felonious assault, possession of a deadly weapon while under detention, participating in a criminal gang.
Corey Thayer, 24, Ohio State Penitentiary, felonious assault, possession of a deadly weapon while under detention, participating in a criminal gang.
Daniel McCauley, 23, Ohio State Penitentiary, felonious assault, possession of a deadly weapon while under detention, participating in a criminal gang.
Albert Baumgartner, 27, Ohio State Penitentiary, felonious assault, possession of a deadly weapon while under detention, participating in a criminal gang.
Joseph L. Porter, 39, Miller Street Southwest, Warren, unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Jerome Jenkins, 19, Cedar Avenue, Sharon, Pa., two counts aggravated burglary.
Earl Doresey Jr., 30, Northview Boulevard, Youngstown, possession of cocaine.
Robert A. Span, 25, Dearborn, Girard, aggravated menacing, using weapons while intoxicated and carrying concealed weapons.
Larry Burt, 44, Bott Street, Youngstown, petty theft.
Jesse L. Mitchell, 21, Barcelona, Niles, failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer, receiving stolen property, burglary.
Ivan L. Sparks, 48, Fourth Street, Warren, theft.
David McWilliams, 26, Riverview Street Northwest, Warren, receiving stolen property, assault on a peace officer, assault on a police dog.
Kedric L. Haynes, 22, Royal Mall Drive, Niles, aggravated trespass and aggravated menacing.
Betty A. Niemi, 41, Parkman Road Northwest, Warren, possession of heroin and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dawn N. Smith, 35, Diehl South, Warren, possession of cocaine.
The grand jury chose not to indict the following the people:
George W. Rink III, 39, North River Road, Warren, theft.
Wilbert D. Murray Jr., 45, Garfield Street, Newton Falls, assault on a peace officer.
Jeremy Hebrock, 19, Highland Avenue Southwest, Warren, felonious assault.
Deborah L. Kline, 45, East Market Street, Warren, theft of drugs and safecracking.
Jared B. Wilson, 27, Kenilworth, Warren, theft of drugs.
Michael J. Lowery, 21, Salt-Springs Road, McDonald, possession of drugs.
Angela Cain, 21, Belmont Northeast, Warren, felonious assault.
