Tressel clears Ross to practice

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Tailback Lydell Ross is back with Ohio State but it is unclear whether he will play Saturday against Penn State.
Coach Jim Tressel cleared Ross to practice with the scout team this week and dress for the game.
A complaint filed last week accused Ross of passing phony money coupons at a local strip club. He was suspended for last week's game against Indiana.
"We're kind of sitting still, if you will, because there have been no charges," Tressel said Tuesday.
Tressel declined to say whether Ross would play against Penn State. Freshman Tony Pittman replaced him at tailback and rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown in a 30-7 win over Indiana.
