2 seriously hurt in fall
PORTERSVILLE, Pa. -- An Ellwood City couple suffered serious injuries after falling from a boulder in McConnell's Mill State Park.
Witnesses saw Paul and Christine Fundark of Ellwood City and their three dogs fall from the boulder at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, a park official said. The boulder was not part of a climbing area and was located near the park's grist mill.
The official said they believe alcohol was involved, but could not say what led up to the fall. The spokesman said Mrs. Fundark was unconscious, having suffered massive head and spinal injuries. Her husband also was unable to explain the fall. He had a broken left wrist and a concussion, the park spokesman said. Both were taken by medical helicopter to Pittsburgh hospitals. Their conditions were not available this morning.
The park spokesman said the dogs were given to Mrs. Fundark's brother.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Steven Sebastian, 38, of Sciota Street was arrested at 1 a.m. Sunday outside the East Side Civics Club on South Avenue on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, illegal possession of a weapon inside a liquor establishment, possession of cocaine and obstructing official business.
Police said they had watched Sebastian enter the bar and leave it, as if escorting patrons out, and each time he held his waistband. Sebastian was then seen arguing, pulling a gun from his waistband and waving it at a man in the parking lot, police said.
Police confiscated a loaded .357-caliber handgun from Sebastian and, at the jail, three packages of suspected cocaine were found on him, reports show.
Reports don't say if he works for the club.
